Paranormal State Supernatural TV Show

Paranormal State (PS) ran for six seasons on the A&E channel with the last season airing in 2011. The show centered around the PRS five members as they explored and researched haunted locations. The PRS was founded by the TV show's main star, Ryan Buell, in 2001 when he was 19 years old. The group continues today as an active paranormal investigation organization.

Buell's approach in establishing the PRS was to create two arms of research that included the Field Investigation & Research (FIR) and Parapsychology & Laboratory Research (PLR). It was this PRS mission to "Scientifically and spiritually explore" the supernatural that set it apart from the competition, such as Ghost Hunters on the Syfy channel.
